Leviticus 24:20-22

^20 (A)fracture for fracture, ^(B)eye for eye, tooth for tooth; just as he has ^[a]injured a man, so it shall be ^[b]inflicted on him. ²¹ Thus the one who strikes down an animal shall make restitution for it, but ^(C)the one who strikes down a man shall be put to death. ²² There shall be ^(D)one standard of judgment for you; it shall be for the sojourner as well as the native, for I am Yahweh your God.’”
